July 26, 2010 will not be declared as a national holiday. Yes, next week Monday will be a regular working day despite the fact that it will be the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the newly elected president Noynoy Aquino. The statement came from presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda.
Although SONA dates are not really part of the list of regular holidays of the year, former President Gloria Arroyo sometimes declare them as holidays.
